Trail View Cottages boasts its own private patio and lawn area where you can sit and enjoy the view to the High Peak Trail. This cottage sleeps four people, plus a travel cot if needed. having a double room with an ensuite and a twin room close to the family room is great for the families or Grandparents. Retaining the original character the exposed beams in the lounge with a Clearview log burner for the colder winter months with addition of electric heating. A family kitchen with exposed beams again and plenty of room for a highchair for the little ones. New for 2024 we have a EV Charger which is free to use for a 7 night stay. A charge of £10 for a shorter stay. This cottage is ideally suited for a small family and couples looking forward to exploring what the Peak District has to offer; Heights of Abraham, Carsington Water, Castleton, Dovedale, Bakewell and Chatsworth House are just some of the places of interest close to this beautiful cottage. Friday for departures and arrivals for 7 night durations and 3 nights. Mondays for 4 nights. Off season 2 nights.

Looking to explore the Peak District on two wheels; or on foot? The High Peak Trail is just a two minute walk giving you the option to see the views without needing to move the car. We have our own cycle storage barn giving you the flexibility to bring your own bikes, alternatively there is cycle hire available locally. Many local agricultural shows during August, Ashover, Ashbourne to name a few. Cromford Steam Fair during the first weekend of August.

There is a restaurant offering pub food, drinks and Sunday lunches a short two minute drive up the road. Just around the corner Autumn in the Peaks to enjoy the fabulous colours of the changing seasons.. Chatsworth House and the Country Fair in September and the Christmas Markets in November/December.
