Outside Description

This ideal North Devon Coastal Cottage has a wonderful decking area to the front of the property with views over the Estuary, where you can enjoy watching the changing tides and sailing boats and you can soak up the warm weather on a sun lounger. There is a bistro table, 2 chairs and a bench and the wonderful tiered terraced area has occasional chair where you can quietly read and enjoy the view. The back patio area is a real sun trap and has a sun lounger and occasional outside chair with a sea themed area which catches the late afternoon and early evening.

Downstairs Description

Once inside, this spacious property offers modern day luxuries. You enter the Cottage through the back door and patio area, into the dining kitchen, which is equipped with cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher and extractor hob with a free standing fridge/freezer.  The dining area offers a dining table and 4 chairs with extra cupboard space and a useful understaffs storage area.  

The Lounge offers a 2 seater sofa and 2 occasional chairs and its seaside theme and luxury soft furnishings is perfect for chilling in the evenings and in the summer months the patio doors from the lounge goes straight out onto the seated decking area, where you can enjoy alfresco dining.

First Floor Description

Upstairs there are two double generous sized bedrooms, one one with king sized bed and stunning views over the Estuary and the other with an option of two single beds (2ft 6inch) or king size bed. There is a luxury appointed bathroom with down rainfall shower head over bath.

Other Notes

There is no off road parking at Moontide although you can park on the streets around the property where you can park, pulled up on the pavements. Entrance to the property is at the back and via an alleyway and we have provided a trolley which can be used to take your luggage to the property.

No children under the age of 12 as we feel the location and property isn’t suitable and because of the decking we do not allow BBQ’s

  • Tapeley Park Gardens : Tapeley Park Gardens is only a 10 minute drive from Moontide and Italian landscaped terraces, one of the UK's oldest permaculture garden and some of the finest North Devon coastal views from the Monument. Visit website
  • The Tarka Trail : Join it at Instow and just park up at one of the lay-bys along the road into Instow to join the trail and discover unspoiled countryside, dramatic sea cliffs and the longest, continuous cycle path in the UK are waiting to be discovered. Visit website
  • Clovelly: is about a 40 minute drive away Clinging to a 400 foot cliff, it has no vehicular traffic, just donkeys and sledges. Its steep, cobbled street tumbles its way down to the ancient fishing harbour and C14th quay. Visit website
