Kings Orchard is formerly the farm manager's house situated amongst fields halfway along the Farm drive. It is a spacious and comfortably furnished family house that is lived in by the family when we are not welcoming guests. It provides ample space for 10 people. The house is secluded and is in a beautiful rural setting. It has a large enclosed garden with fruit trees with spectacular views over the estuary and across to the down-land and countryside of the West Wight. The house has gas central heating as well as an open log fire in the sitting room. The farm surrounds the River Yar Estuary and is served by the Freshwater to Yarmouth footpath, a very popular walk particularly in the summer months.
While the house is not designated for disabled access, the downstairs bedroom and wetroom/bathroom, no steps on the ground floor and very small lintel in front entrance (2 inches) make it very accessible both for wheelchairs and those with mobility difficulties.
