The Main House at Westwood Lodge offers ideal Yorkshire Large Self Catering Accommodation and is Ilkley’s only self-catering historic country house.
Westwood Lodge is situated on the very edge of the world famous Ilkley Moor in the ancient West Riding of Yorkshire in England. You are literally on the Moor as soon as you cross the cattle grid at our gates!
Whilst there is little traffic other than the odd passing sheep, deer or pheasant, you’re not going to find yourself ‘in the middle of nowhere’ staying here. Westwood combines a rural location with close proximity to Ilkley town itself (just down the hill) plus all the places - town and country - that you might need to get to.
The Main House with The Wharfedale Rooms provides very spacious accommodation on three floors of the 1875 Grade II Listed Westwood Lodge country house. There’s direct access and full use of The Cellars leisure area (workout room, sauna, Jacuzzi spa etc.), the sunny terrace and animal corner/ play area with Wendy House. There’s a private garden area at the rear plus reserved parking for several vehicles.
