Ruffles Cottage is a cosy, comfortable cottage set in the heart of the beautiful medieval village of Dunster. The cottage was built in 1844 and has all ‘mod-cons’ whilst retaining its traditional character, complete with a wood-burning stove. The property sleeps up to 4 people in two bedrooms, one double and one twin, has an upstairs bathroom and a small courtyard to the rear of the property with garden furniture. Also for your use is a shared garden which is a few doors away.
The cottage backs onto St. George’s Church and enjoys the melodic chimes of the Church bells. Views of Conygar Tower can be seen in the distance and a glimpse of Dunster Castle too. There are numerous walks immediately from the door - up on to the moor via Grabbist Hill (which is just a few paces away), Dunster deer park and woods, up to Conygar Tower and of course the beautiful castle grounds.
