The space in the cottage is open plan to make the most of the beautiful views of the valley. Floor to ceiling glass windows and the huge wood contemporary wood-burning stove make it a nature-lovers haven with fabulous walks from the house. It’s tucked away in a private part of pretty Thropton Village but the cottage is in walking distance to 2 pubs that both serve great food – about 10 minutes on foot. Alternatively, the farming market town of Rothbury is just 2 miles down the road from the cottage. Wood Cottage sleeps 6 guests and welcomes 1 dog too.
