Outside Description
To the rear of the cottage, there is a gravelled courtyard area with entrances into the cottage via the rear door and through the sun room. The front garden is very pretty and quiet, part lawned and part paved, with seating outside for up to 6. From the front garden you have access directly to the riverside path that runs along the River Coquet with easy access to the main street, old bridge and on to the beach. The garden to the front and gravelled courtyard area to the rear are enclosed, ideal for dogs and small children with the gates closed.
Downstairs Description
The front door opens into a small, entrance hallway leading to a larger hall with access upstairs and through to the lounge and kitchen.
The kitchen can be accessed from the utility room if entering the cottage from the back door. The kitchen is a good size with plenty of work surface space and a small window overlooking the river.
The cosy lounge has floor to ceiling windows which overlook the pretty front garden and the river beyond. There is an open coal fire for extra ambiance, for which there is one bucket of coal provided for bookings from October to April. Logs cannot be used on the open coal fire.
The utility room has a separate cloakroom with WC, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. This is a great room for dogs to sleep in overnight or to dry off after a walk on the beach!
