Pine Cone Hideaway was made for star gazers and wildlife watchers.
This cosy, romantic and peaceful retreat just for two sits in a unique setting at the end of a row of traditional country cottages on the edge of the woodland surrounding Middleton Hall Estate. It certainly earns it’s name as a ‘hideaway’, as when inside, you look out to the pretty woodland, framed with the distant views of the wildlife haven of Budle Bay, all whilst being tucked away in your own oasis.
This cottage near Bamburgh has a detached Garden Room, elevated at the top of the garden and purpose built for enjoying the distant sea views and star gazing on clear nights, complete with a large telescope. Inside the cottage, you’ll find a cosy kitchen diner with wood burning stove, leading to a bright lounge/sun room with another wood burning stove. The bedroom and en suite bathroom is upstairs, occupying the whole first floor.
