With a fabulous coastal vibe, Lavender House in Alnmouth is just a few minutes’ easy stroll from the beautiful Alnmouth beach and the heart of this historic village, known for its Ballamory-style houses and a good selection of friendly pubs, restaurants and shops.
Its location is also central within Northumberland, offering easy access to all the county’s major attractions, including Bamburgh, the Farne Islands, Holy Island, the medieval and picturesque village of Warkworth, and Alnwick – home to the world-famous Alnwick Garden and Alnwick Castle, which featured as Hogwarts School in Harry Potter and in Braveheart. Lavender House also provides an ideal base for walking or cycling holidays, with many excellent coastal and countryside routes in the area.
Lavender House in Alnmouth accommodates up to six guests (including infants) in one double bedroom and two twin/super king bedrooms. The convertible rooms can be arranged as either twin beds or super king-size (6ft wide) beds upon request – please see the bedroom descriptions below. The house is set over three storeys, with two of the bedrooms on the ground floor, the main living space on the first floor, and the master bedroom on the second floor.
