Outside Description
The front of the cottage faces straight onto the main street, with a wide pavement in front. To the rear of the cottage there is a large, fully enclosed patio garden with seating for up to 8. There is also the addition of a ‘Garden Room’, which houses a full size table tennis table and a dart board, as well as a tumble dryer (washing machine in the kitchen).
Downstairs Description
There is only one entrance into Ashleigh Cottage, from the front, which is on the main street of the village.
The large lounge is very comfortable, with sueded leather large and medium sized sofas, and an armchair. There’s a large flat-screen TV and a sash window facing out to the main street. The dining kitchen leads from the lounge.
Kitchen/Dining Room- At the heart of the house is the fabulous country dining kitchen with its feature wood-burning stove. This room is spacious, the huge farmhouse dining table seating up to 8 is perfect for gathering round on an evening for a good catch up with friends and family.
The Snug - Accessed from the hallway, the snug is perfect for children to have their own space, or for adults to have a quiet read or watch a different TV program separate from the lounge.
With walk in shower, WC and wash hand basin and with a heated towel rail.
First Floor Description
The master bedroom is very spacious, complete with a kingsize bed (5′ wide), with sash window overlooks the main street.
Bedroom 2 - This light and airy bedroom with a double bed (4’6″ wide) and sash window overlooking the pretty patio garden.
Bedroom 3 – The very spacious twin bedroom has 2 full size single beds (3ft wide), with large sash window overlooking main street.
Bedroom 4 –Full size bunk beds (3ft wide) provide a fun, but compact bedroom for one or two children, up to age 12.
Full size bath with WC and wash hand basin.
Other Notes
Although there is not parking directly in front of Ashleigh Cottage, you can unload your car directly in front of the door for a short period of time. You can then park your car either in the main square of Warkworth, or down next to the bridge. Both of these areas are no more than 100 yards from the front door of the cottage.
